An annual Art & Craft Exhibition Event.
It has been running for seven years, and attracts visitors from all over the country and beyond. It is an opportunity for local (and some visiting) practitioners in a variety of disciplines:
Ceramics, craft, furniture, galleries, glasswork, illustrators, jewellery making, multimedia, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpting, silversmith, textiles and wood. Quite a list !
The 2011 catalogues are out, with more practitioners than ever before, so get a hold of one and plan your trip(s) to some of the studios this season. The catalogue provides information on every NEOS participant, and also included a handy map of North East Scotland, with each participant marked and keyed, so that you could plan your visits (although our Stonehaven section has some stray markers, so be sure to follow the written instructions). You can also Search Online through the site catalogue entries by Surname, by Discipline, or from a list of featured Galleries.
One visit I will definitely be making is to Colin Millum as I was really impressed with his work and style, and want to see his full size prints.
